About the job

We’re looking for a confident, people‑focused Business Development Executive to help us grow our

customer base across the North of England. We’re a manufacturing company in the automotive

equipment industry, and we need someone who enjoys getting out on the road, meeting

customers, and spotting new opportunities.

What you’ll be doing

• Building relationships with new and existing customers across the region
• Visiting sites, understanding customer needs, and recommending the right products
• Keeping an eye out for new business opportunities and following up leads
• Giving product demos and explaining technical features in a clear, friendly way
• Working with our internal teams to make sure customers get what they need
• Keeping track of your pipeline, sales activity, and market trends
• Attending trade shows, events, and occasional company meetings

What we’re looking for

• Experience in business development, field sales, or account management
• Ideally some background in automotive, engineering, or manufacturing
• Someone who’s confident, organised, and happy working independently
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
• Comfortable learning technical products and explaining them simply

Must‑haves

• Full, clean UK driving licence
• Willing to travel across the North of England
• Able to stay away from home occasionally when needed
• Eligible to work in the UK
